About

my babiesI’m Sandra Samoska.  I’m a teacher, chauffeur, housekeeper, mentor, psychologist, director and zookeeper (also known as a stay-at-home-mom).  I’m married to a wonderful man and have the privilege of raising four amazingly unique children. Between them and the multiple pets they seem to collect, I’m seriously Outnumbered.

My philosophy is that no one’s life is just about one thing. Instead, we are an incredible, complex tapestry of experiences, ideas, and values that all weave together to tell each person’s individual story. Every story is different, but no one’s is so different that there’s not someone who can come alongside us at certain times and say, “you’re not alone. I feel that, too.”

I write about those experiences that make up the fabric of our story – faith, family, parenting, marriage, church, friendships – the simple and the not so simple, the times when God has met us where we are. My hope is that you’ll read something here that will make you say, “Oh. I’m not alone. I feel that, too.”
